The European Commission has commenced the selection process for members of the Deputy Chief Observer for the upcoming Election Observation Mission (EOM), which will observe the Presidential Elections in the Republic of The Gambia. These elections are scheduled for 5 December 2026.
The Commission invites qualified candidates to submit applications for the following position:
- Deputy Chief Observer (DCO)
Candidates interested in the position of Deputy Chief Observer are permitted to apply concurrently for one (or a maximum of two) Core Team roles, as specified in the separate Call for Candidatures.
Deadline for application: 27 September 2026 (23h59 Brussels time)
