7. Contract description

The objective of the contract will be the provision of services aimed at engaging think tanks and the academia in policy research and debates on topics of relevance for the Strategic Partnership between the EU and India; and at informing and engaging the media and wider civil society actors, thus promoting a more informed interaction between India and the EU and enhance mutual understanding and interest in an intensified cooperation on issues of common interest and/or mutual concern.

10. Additional information

Activities will include the creation of networks and the promotion of initiatives through which mutual understanding can be promoted in line with a modern public diplomacy approach. This might entail work with the media, think tanks, and academia on selected issues related to global governance, foreign and security policy, sector policies such as environment, climate change and energy, economic relations, trade and investment, amongst others.

Regulation (EU) N°236/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 March 2014 laying down common rules and procedures for the implementation of the Union's instruments for financing external action and Regulation (EU) N°236/2014 establishing a Partnership Instrument for cooperation with third countries.
