7. Contract description

The objective of the action is to contribute to the implementation of the EU security sector reform (SSR) policy framework by supporting and sustaining inclusive national SSR processes including dialogue on security sector governance and reform in conflict, post-conflict and fragile countries. This will be achieved by inter alia providing technical expertise, training, organising meetings and seminars to support and underpin national policy planning, implementation and dialogue on SSR, ensuring that gender concerns are included within SSR dialogues and planning processes in order to meet the long term security needs and rights of women, men, girls and boys.

Regulation (EU) N°236/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 March 2014 laying down common rules and procedures for the implementation of the Union's instruments for financing external action and Regulation (EU) N°230/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 March 2014 establishing an instrument contributing to stability and peace.
