LAC4 is a training centre that will contribute to improving cybersecurity education and skills, enhancing collaboration between the EU and the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) region.

The Centre was opened under the EU CyberNet project, managed by the Service for Foreign Policy Instruments of the European Commission. LAC4 aims at becoming an independent multinational organisation by 2025.

The inaugural conference that concluded a busy week of technical trainings at LAC4 gathered over 100 EU and LAC policymakers, diplomats, and the technical community from the region in sharing insights on the needs and challenges of cybersecurity awareness and training, workforce development and opportunities for cross-border collaboration to support sustainable digital transformation.
