EU Business Information Programme for Hong Kong and Macao

Short Description: The general objective of the business information programme will be to strengthen economic partnership and business cooperation with Hong Kong and Macao and ensure a stronger and coordinated representation of European business and its interests in Hong Kong and Macao. This will contribute to the strategic objective of boosting the competitiveness of European companies and strengthening their presence in Hong Kong/Macao, as many European companies use Hong Kong as their China hub or gateway. The programme could focus on a limited number of key priorities including but not limited to SMEs, protection and enforcement of IPRs, financial services, and investment.
