Pending the final decision of the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission (HR/VP) to deploy an EU Election Observation Mission (EU EOM) to Venezuela, the European Commission wishes to initiate the selection procedure for Core Team positions for the EOM to observe the Regional and Municipal
elections in Venezuela, scheduled to take place on 21 November 2021.
The Commission invites interested applicants to submit their candidature for one (maximum two) of the following 10 positions:
- Political and Campaign Analyst
- Election Analyst
- Legal Analyst
- Press Officer
- Media Analyst
- Social Media Analyst 1
- Human rights and Gender Analyst
- Observer Coordinator (2 positions)
- Data Analyst
Applicants for the position of Deputy Chief Observer, as per the separate Call for Candidatures, are allowed to apply in parallel for one (maximum two) Core Team positions.
