Promoting the role of women in security and counterterrorism

The project helps the EU’s partner countries to promote the participation of women in the field of security and counterterrorism, and notably in criminal justice responses to terrorism.

EU Afghanistan Peace Support Mechanism ll (EU APSM II)

The EU Afghanistan Peace Support Mechanism II (EU APSM II) supported an inclusive peace process in Afghanistan involving local and national level stakeholders. Following the Taliban take-over, the project adjusted to the new context to reflect the need of peace-building support.
