The objective of the assistance measure is to contribute to strengthening the capacities of the Armed Forces of Montenegro in order to enhance national security, stability and resilience in the defence sector; improve interoperability; and thereby better protect the civilian population.

This assistance measure will strengthen (i) the capacities of the Armed Forces of Mauritania in their land and sea components, and (ii) Mauritania’s surveillance activities on its national territory and in its maritime zone, (iii) to better protect the civilian population.
