Global thematic evaluation of 45 FPI-funded actions (~€100m since 2021) countering disinformation and FIMI. Actions are relevant and rapid, but fragmented and reactive, outcomes and sustainability are uneven. Stronger strategy, coordination and outcome-focused M&E are needed.

EU-funded evaluation (Feb–Nov 2024) of three Global Covenant of Mayors (GCoM) actions—Secretariat, Asia and Americas—finds strong relevance and generally good results (notably >400 new member cities), but uneven Secretariat delivery due to governance, IT/data and partnership delays.

Evaluation of EU-funded “Environmental Diplomacy in G7/G20” (2018–2023, €2.5m): high relevance and EU added value/coherence, moderate effectiveness/efficiency, impact difficult to measure. Gender mainstreaming limited, strengthen M&E and adaptive influencing.

Final evaluation of IURC CCS (2021–2023): programme relevant and valued by partner cities/regions, CCS effective in harmonising procedures and visibility. Gaps: short timeframe, limited Member State/private sector engagement, weak impact/sustainability evidence.

Mid-term evaluation (July 2024) of the EU-funded project “Building a new relationship with the United Kingdom” finds the action highly relevant and generally effective/efficient in supporting EU Delegation policy support and public diplomacy post-Brexit, but with weak impact measurement.

Mid-term evaluation of the EU-funded project “Stabilisation of Tajikistan’s southern border region with Afghanistan (Phase 2)”. It reviews relevance, coherence, effectiveness, efficiency, sustainability, cross-cutting issues and EU added value, and proposes practical recommendations.

Final evaluation of the EU/FPI crisis response in North-East Syria (2020–2024), assessing coherence, effectiveness, sustainability and EU added value of actions aiming to reduce vulnerability to radicalisation and support reintegration.

Evaluation of eight EU-funded CBRN risk-mitigation projects (2015–2023) under the CoE Initiative. It finds strong relevance and EU added value, with gains in training, SOPs, coordination and regulation, but uneven coherence, limited mainstreaming of gender/environment, and sustainability risks.

Final evaluation of the EU-funded “Education Outreach USA and Canada” (May 2021–Sep 2024, €3m) finds the eight activities highly relevant, efficient and effective: 2,600+ participants, indicators met/exceeded, and 90%+ reported improved EU knowledge. Strong EU added value, refine logframe.
