ECO-SOLVE addresses key shortfalls in the current response to environmental crime using innovative approaches. The project activities address insufficient data, the prevalence of corruption and the failure to include communities.

The EU Global Facility provides technical support to partner countries worldwide to strengthen their anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing frameworks. It promotes cooperation to disrupt illicit financial flows and cut off access to funding for terrorist organisations.

The project contributes to Rwanda’s efforts to address trauma and other mental health issues stemming from the genocide against the Tutsi; as well as rehabilitation and reintegration of ex-prisoners convicted of genocide-related crimes. Together with the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), the EU launched STRIVE Juvenile to disrupt terrorist groups’ recruitment of children and promote the rehabilitation of children who have been associated with these groups.

CRIMARIO is an EU initiative working to strengthen maritime security and safety across the Indo-Pacific by interconnecting countries and regions and enhancing their maritime surveillance, coordination and law enforcement capacities.

The project helps the EU’s partner countries to promote the participation of women in the field of security and counterterrorism, and notably in criminal justice responses to terrorism.
